This series of looping visualisations is inspired by thread, ornaments, and jewels. Orbs and string taking on autonomy, moving with free will, metabolising in abiogenesis.

Animated visuals created for the runway, stage and main arena of Object Merchant’s Annual Gala.
Creative brief
The event required a distinctive visual identity that could extend beyond a single screen and contribute to the atmosphere of the physical space. The animated content needed to complement the fashion, performance and staging while remaining effective across screens of different sizes and proportions.
My role
I designed and animated the digital visuals used throughout the event. I developed the visual language, explored movement, form, colour and timing, then adapted the finished animations for different screen applications across the runway, stage and main arena. Designing for a live event required me to consider how the work would appear at scale, interact with lighting and architecture and be experiencedby an audience moving through the venue. The final visuals helped connect the different event
spaces through a cohesive and immersive digital environment.
